How do you think all those Jalsas happen? People just decide to waste their whole day to hear a rambling drama from london?
However, if where there is rigging .. there is also genuine vote. And that is somewhere around 30/70 in ratio.
WHY?
because there HAS been actual work done by the MQM for the people of certain areas in Karachi. They see it in improved water supply, roads , thrift bazaaars and so on. Yet, the 30% it has to cheat ,lie or steal for its ballot are the result of its thuggery which includes extortion,land mafia and so on which is does in competition from the ANP,JI and PPP.

If there is genuine vote and if MQM thinks it has heavy mandate of people of Karachi. Then why rig polls? Let people decide their rulers. But then again MQM also don't have much confidence in their supposed mandate.

Good at least you accept rigging on their part.
