Okay, guys hear me out, I am neither Pakistani Nor Indian, But I do hold enough information on this Kashmir Issue because I am a Geopolitical researcher and happen to be in a family of bureaucrats and defence agencies.
My POV in this is neutral. And I am gonna spill facts which will anger both of you.
As far as Geopolitics is concerned Kashmir issue is nothing new, there are too many similar situations also due to the British drawing borders around the globe. So if you want to answer to who Kashmir belongs? IDK, but if want the answer to whom it should be given, then it should be obviously India, Okay Pakistani people hear me out.
[ And Kashmir(IOK + Azad Kashmir) (excluding Ladakh{ is not a part of Kashmir}) can't survive independently even if India and Pakistan and China don't interfere. ]
Pakistan was a richer country than India and as far as defence is concerned Pakistan cannot win a war with India on paper but like the Russia-Ukraine war we can see what is, in theory, doesn't matter in real life, So Pakistan might not have won the war with India but it doesn't mean it can't. But currently west won't support Pakistan like Ukraine over India.
But the drawn of Pakitan in comparison to India started in the 1970s, and there are so many reasons for this. However, one primary reason for this discrepancy was the role of the USA, which utilized Pakistan for its own interests and then abandoned it. Pakistan's democratic stability remains a point of controversy, and if the situation deteriorates further, it risks being labelled a failed state similar to Somalia and other nations.
But first, Let's go back to the 1960s for a moment.
India became a nuclear power and a rising economic opportunity, while China emerged as a major power in Central Asia. As a result, the USA has shifted its focus towards India as a potential ally. The reasons for this are twofold - Pakistan cannot compete with China, and India has demonstrated remarkable power(in terms of intelligence and defence, economy) that was not anticipated by the CIA and FBI (America).
In the realm of geopolitics, India is often referred to as the most lost nation, having lost the majority of the 200 invasions it has faced. Furthermore, India's economy has declined over time (currently 7%), despite having once accounted for over 50% of the world GDP. India has also lost land (Pakistan, Bangladesh, etc.), people, and many of its resources. In conclusion, India is considered the least powerful nation.
So after Independence, we all knew that India was the done deal. But things changed after the 1990s(my pov).
India is the only country in the world which is so my diversity and still holds a Democracy. India has recently speeded up the growth of their economy and is exploring space and setting milestones in every sector mainly IT. And India is the only solution to Chinese influence. Because after some time China will surpass the USA (India will also) but how would it feel that a communist nation is better than a whole world of democracy?
In the end, India is growing and will attain more support from the world to counter China, And soon will emerge as a superpower. IDK the reason for this sudden growth I suspect Nationalism but diversity reduces nationalism among people so IDK the main reason.
And now let's come back to Pakistan, from all the journals and research papers, and biography I have read, In my conclusion(My pov), it's not wrong to say that Pakistan was/is under the control of Intelligence Agencies and War Industries.
Democracy is like a decoy in Pakistan, & the main reason for this is Law in Pakistan the Second reason can be the US intervention and ISI. ISI and other agencies and war industries(Anyone who s benefited from a war) had control over Pakistan which they still possess and these agencies will only grow when there is either a war or a conflict or a dispute on a national level.
All of this started with the CIA and ISI working together to stop Soviets in Afghanistan via the Taliban. Which they did. But soon Islamic terrorism became a thing, there is a lot of dispute about "how?" but the main point is the root of Islamic Terrorism connects to ISI and the CIA but mainly America.
The individuals who hold power in Pakistan thrive on conflict and war, which enables them to expand their influence. They deliberately engineer situations that will allow them to grow, but this would not be possible without the complicity of the Pakistani government and the support of its people.
To further their goals, these agencies employ a proxy system to create a false sense of urgency around the need for Pakistan to participate in wars and conflicts. This tactic is similar to the one used by the US government to justify its invasion of Iraq to its people, which was based on false pretences.
Initially, the primary target of these agencies was India, particularly over the issue of Kashmir, but their focus has since shifted to the US.
And As a result of all this stuff, the legal and governing bodies in Pakistan are weak, as these agencies have too much influence over them. A significant amount of money is invested in the growth of war industries such as the army, navy, air force, and intelligence agencies while neglecting other crucial sectors of the economy.
(There is a point beyond which investing all the money in the Army, Navy, and Air Force is no longer considered a defence investment, but rather an investment in the war industry. Pakistan crossed this point a long time ago.)
It is also true that Pakistan tried to make the situation better and resolve its problem but it was too late and these agencies became so much power and now the Pakitan political system is a joke and the country is in an immense amount of debt and this all resulted in poor conditions in Pakistan which we can see as you read.
I have come across numerous biographies written by spies from the ISI, CIA, and R&AW. These biographies reveal how hard-earned money from Pakistani taxpayers is being used to support insurgencies in Kashmir, including backing groups like al Qaeda and other jihadi organizations. Interestingly, I have read more negative information about the ISI from biographies and leaks by former ISI agents than I have from KGB, CIA, R&AW, and MI6 combined.
At some point, KGB was afraid of ISI due to their control over Pakistan and stated it as a billion-dollar industry in Pakistan and Richest agency in the world.
You can access all of this info through reading journals and books and secret government documentation and leaked communication data, you can use Z library for most of your information and for the rest you can use "hidden wiki" on the dark web and "wiki leaks" etc.
So, In the end, If the Kashmiri people really want freedom from India which is hypothetical (they don't want it), their best option is China although they will suffer more while being a communist regime still, it would be better than Pakistan.
I have been to both India and Pakitan but never to Azad Kashmir (Azad Kashmir) but I have been to IOK and my boy it is amazingly beautiful, I was on vacation in India and Indians call Kashmir "Heaven on Earth" and I thought it is some kind of marketing scheme for tourism but when I got there I was just amazed, it was just beautiful I cannot describe it in words. Although I really wanted to visit Azad Kashmir but I was denied permission due to some reason and although I loved visiting Islamabad but I really wanted to visit Azad Kashmir.
My message to both the people of India & Pakistan: Guys As far as my knowledge goes you guys are so much similar to each other considering your history culture food and language and etc, This hate that you all have it's not yours it is someone else. Both of you guys have lost resources and people in fighting with each other Sp please stop this & You both should reunite.
Forget who is your ally and who is your enemy, these things are just geo-political stuff and it is just a "game of temporary interest" played by Western countries in end no one is anyone's ally or enemy. I am from the West and I know better than you guys all these things.
And a Special message to Pakistani people: Guys if you all want to solve the problem then start solving your problem, from what I have read you guys hold enough power to make things right but IDK what you all are waiting for.

Kashmiris like myself are from a different race altogether, not specifically related to either Indian ethnicities or Pakistani ethnicities (Indus)

Thing is that indian men along with their women are so hideously ugly and unathletic that ANY non-indian women will get easily turned off by them. It explains why in the west, indian women who are educated and have wealth marry or breed with non-indian men. suella braverman, priti patel and rishi sunak's sister are all married or breeding with non-indian men. It also explains why in the west, indian males are all beta and find it extremely difficult to get with girls. hinduism/hindutva produce males that women especially non-indian women find extremely unattractive.
