Those afghans were lucky. It is not uncommon for Iranian border guards to shoot dead Afghans trying to enter their country. The Iranians are ruthless and efficient. We Pakistanis are the opposite. Our kindness is seen as weakness and we get treated as such.

It is possible to come illeagally. But the same reason that we can not secure the border is also the reason why it is difficult to cross.

We should let the people who want to go back go. Border should be open from our side to go back into Afghanistan but not in to Pakistan.

Pakistan should not provide refuge to any afghani. Haven't we learnt anything from the past. Have we forgotten the language used by afghanis against Pakistan. Pakistan should make medical tents on the border and only let the afghans who need medical treatment come in and get treated in the tents on the border.

I think we need to start being more ruthless and efficient like the Iranians. We need to deftly guard our nation like they do. Diplomacy and being kind is getting us nowhere. It is seen as weakness and servitude.
