I have been reading many books about ISI lately, that is probably why
But on a serious note, India's northeast is very vulnerable. I am honestly surprised they have been able to hang on to it for this long with all the shit going on there. It is perfect scenario, an extremely vulnerable chokepoint for India, CAA/NRC is alienating and excluding masses, China has an insurgency there already. India declares millions of people stateless and revokes citizenship, jailing millions in detention centers. Independence movement in northeast emerges in response to CAA/NRC. I could not have imagined such a perfect scenario ten years ago. Who would've guessed that Indian politicians could be so stupid that instead of empowering northeast and giving them more rights, India revokes their citizenship instead creating ideal environment for independence. It's time for us to stir up some trouble. ISI is not lurking around in Nepal and Bhutan for nothing. Like 1971, it is probably a matter of time before it gets cut off from India eventually. It is a huge liability for India with so much unrest in that area from Assamese, Naxals, Maoist insurgency, ISI, Chinese proxies, and mistrust from Nepal and Bhutan. Pakistan could only keep East Pakistan until its luck ran out as it was a very vulnerable situation from day 1. I wonder if Indian plans to start mass jailing of excluded citizens in northeast will be the catalyst to spark separation from India in 10-20 years. In long run, CAA/NRC actually benefits Pakistan because India will keep isolating and repressing northeast population to the point where they may exclude many citizens who want revenge and independence. Since northeast is easy to cut off, it could actually be achievable. Such an environment would be the ideal environment for Azadi and freedom movements to thrive for separation from Indian exclusion and oppression. India should be careful or they will alienate northeast with CAA/NRC through mass detention and exclusion camps. In northeast if China gets involved, India would have a difficult time defending northeast once it gets cut off.
Reality is Pakistan may not even have to get involved in northeast.
China will do it someday by itself, when I don't know. But it's inevitable because geography favors China so they will take that shot some day. And it would be the perfect opportunity to take Kashmir if it happens. Indian military admitted their nightmare is a worst case scenario for India in a two front war because they will lose both. If you are Pakistan Army chief and you know this, would you give up once in a lifetime opportunity to take Kashmir while India is distracted? Which is more important for India to save? Kashmir or Northeast. We will find out the answer someday.
