I would like to have a long range SAM network installed all over Pak where needed.
2. As an alternate for aircraft carrier, PN should have its own (owned and operated by PN) aviation wing comprising of at least 40 to 60 fighter aircraft equipped with anti-ship missiles (to sink a frigate/destroyer/carrier), BVRs and CMs. This would free up PAF and they would be able to concentrate on securing the sky and providing aerial support to the army.
3. If PN can be equipped with a large number of surface vessel, i.e. frigates and destroyers 8 of each.
4. Increase the submarine fleet to 20 including 6 nuclear (it is expensive option but, this will secure the coastline of Pakistan.
5. Increase the number of fast attack missile boats to 30 to 40. Four sea mine detecting vessel so PN has a large coverage to keep Pakistani sea clear of mines.

About $45 billion dollars should get all of these goodies.

That's like twice the entire forex reserves of the Pakistan and 5 times its entire annual defense budget.

This will be feasible when Pakistan's economy will take off, let's say in 5 years from now, a project like this one can be spread on a 10 to 15 years period _and 3 nuclear submarines will be sufficient as an added deterrence_, so it is a $40 billion project with a yearly budget between $3 and $4 billion.. that is if the economy permits it as early as in 5 years.. A project like this will secure Pakistan's skies and sea/coastline for decades to come and will allow Pakistan to concentrate more on the economy and well-being of its citizens..

If Sweden can be self-sufficient in defense, Pakistan can too. It will take a substantial investment in resources to do it, but it's possible. But Sweden is also a major exporter of arms, if Pakistan can do the same, it will be even better.

Pakistan step by step is increasing number of military products it can produce not import but I do not think that within 10 or 15 years it will be able to be fully self-sufficeint in high-end arms.

US is no longer a reliable defense equipment option for Pakistan. The best option would be to focus on China and then go for Made In Pakistan initiative.

It is time for Pakistan to close doors on US & rely on Turkey, Italy, South Africa, Ukraine & others. US defence hardware ONLY for Pakistan comes with strict rules or terms & conditions. Also when Pakistan asks for US to sell modern military hardware they clearly refuse & at the same US has no problem selling military hardware to Mid Eastern countries. In short US is a unreliable country when it comes to selling defence hardware to Pakistan.

Pakistan is doing a great job on getting close to China, Turkey, South Africa, Italy & Ukraine as this will help our engineers & scientist to learn new & modern techniques.

I foresee F-16s being replaced with JF-17s and AH-1Zs replaced by Mi-28s.

U are totally forecasting wrongly as F16 shall be there for long time though role may change with induction of 4.5 th gen JF17 block III and expected induction of 5th gen jet in near future. Mi35 shall be there to support special forces transportation and light attack support but not specifically as substitute of AH1z. The Super Cobras and expected inductee from China or Turkey shall replace existing AH1z fleet.
