This is good move. It will irritate Afghanistan Government. People will be affected and resultantly pressure will be on both governments of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Our Diplomats now have a big challenge. Two countries, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, are at the daggers drawn with Pakistan. We need to act maturely but bravely. Iam happy that our government is moving cautiously. We also must understand that Afghan government will not be pushed with such measures. They already moved to UN against Pakistan on the behest of India. Step by step, Pakistan must defeat evil designs of its enemy and defend its freedom and sovereignty.

Border should be assigned with a monthly or weekly schedule for opening and must remain close for the rest of the time until & unless, total scrutiny of foreigners inside Pakistan and collection of Data prior to dispatch so that terrorist may not escape. A proper visa policy and Embassy channel be defined and free walk to be discouraged so that anyone who wants to visit Pakistan, needs to contact Embassy first by filing proper application, has to go through the process, has to wait for issuance or rejection of Visa and then proceed accordingly.

And It must be IK since he is the PM of Pakistan so everything he says matters. As for Zar-e-Azb get your facts straight, it was military who launched the operation while the government was as clueless about it as it is now. It only endorsed it latter when the operation had already begun.

Afghanistan imports has been decreasing as more and more foreigners leave. It came down to $6-7 billion from high of $10 billion some years ago. This will obviously effect Afghan imports from Pakistan as well. I've heard Irani cement is cheaper now so it make sense for them to import it instead of ours. Irani cement is even smuggled to Pakistan, only possible if it was cheaper there like Irani petrol which is also smuggled to Pakistan.

Most of Afghanis imports through karachi are smugled back in to Pakistan which cost Rs100 billion or more to Pakistan.
