Pakistan, China sign cultural agreement to raise people-to-people contact

Pakistanis share no culture with the Chinese. Both nations are allies and business partners but the Chinese people know very little about Pakistan. Language is a huge barrier. Pakistanis must learn Mandarin to communicate with the Chinese community. Pakistanis have strong historic cultural ties to Britian, religious ties to the Arab world and the Turks.

Yet China is our Iron brother and helped us, still helping to outmaneuver Indians. I respect them a lot. I have a Chinese friend and he has tremendous soft corner for Pakistanis just like we Pakistanis have for China.

I also read some comments of Chinese on youtube. They said they call Pakistan as BA TIE or iron brother. They may know little about us but they do have soft corner for us. At least they know what Pakistan did for them when they were in their initial stages of development.

Good initiative , with increase in people to people communication would help grow relationship between two countries even stronger. There is massive mutual respect for the two already.

The only traditional culture followers in pakistan is now tribal pushtoons.

Chinese dont even give visa's to so called brotherly nation, what cultural exchanges are we talking about? Pakistan needs to talk with China over its visa regulations otherwise China is no better than any other country.

I'm not putting the militery or government friendship in doubt but people to people contact is very limited. The more developed regions of China are further east, far away from Pakistan. Pakitanis will have to make extra effort to have an understanding with the local Chinese populations . I'll even go as to far as the Arabs, the Arabs know very little about us only that we share the same religion as them. The only people I've met in person and online that deeply appreciate and admire Pakistan are the Turks and the citizens of Azerbaijan. @PaklovesTurkiye
