Yes, maximise wishful thinking and day dream as much as possible but buy everything from abroad for now.

I will give one example, Australia has banned fresh mango imports from Pakistan due to the fear of the mango bark beetle that could ruin their local mango industry. A way around it is to have the mangos processed by canning and this way Pakistan can access the Australian market as well.

Well, if our businesses can produce globally competitive products then why not? However, you can not expect to make millions while creating a rent-seeking economy where you have no drive to improve capital because your banks are getting filled just fine.

Pakistani producers need to become competitive and get washed away by foreign competition. No more hand outs to the saiths...

FBR restructuring should be done immediately to increase TAX NET, and I agree that everyone should be paying Taxes but there are also other ways to help the economy. for example, we need to increase our manufacturing section and services, tap into tourism industry including medical tourism.

Instead it should import timber sourced from the target countries. for example there is timber from Jarrah and Marri trees which is not found anywhere else in the world except in Western Australia, and Australians love furniture made from wood of these trees and they fetch premium prices too.

Jarrah is a bright red and Marri is very light wood with black lines through it.

Pakistan is producing expensive electricity.
