I do hope this time they will use air asset for real time surveillance i.e. drones against possible ambushes to reduce own causalities.

I really really really really really don't understand, What is the reason for getting new weapon systems but not actually using them.
What's the point if you not are hunting those who are sponsoring and providing resources and training these scums. Follow the money
Pakistan got Block 50 F16s to Counter Terrorism ( COUGH COUGH INDIA )
these are really expensive to operate, and not really feasible for a country like Pakistan to keep using them,
Hence you go look for some weapon systems which are easier to operate, cheaper to maintain
does Pakistan currently, has that?
Mushshak can be converted to a cheap air-to-ground attack platform heck not a surveillance platform for these areas, Drones from China & locally developed drones can be used that will not only build your local industry
Breakin into Comms system being used by enemies.
The biggest benefit of this terrain is you don't have civilians in that area or a very small number that can be moved easily which gives you a more free hand to use high damage systems against the enemy.
It's a lot harder for someone to move or do anything when they are being continuously being attacked by the enemy they can't see.
People as I have said before I can promise you this, You will not see the complete removal of Terrorist scums from Pakistani land, these are pawns used by the state itself to keep sort of relevance in media and state politics.
Death of some soldier or some civilian is just a number.
Answer me a simple question why we only see civilians or some jawans being targetted not the top

It is preferable to see a semi-large post equipped with helicopter drones ( like AV500W ), to be more effective solution. A surveillance drones can monitor and can alert for suspicious moment near the post. So the heli can check, verify and take necessary action. As Baktyar type drones carry less, and always armed drones degrade the ammunition life.
