So what you're saying is it's better to perpetuate irrelevance than to not do so?

for me there is no problem , but for some it is unacceptable , they are talking about it on twitter .
they are very relevant in our society .

They are only relevant because people lend them an ear and spread their ideas even if haphazardly. I feel just by addressing it for so long I'm beginning to do the same. So I won't be replying about this topic anymore. Thanks.

I think there will be some clown somewhere trying to discredit her because she is a lesbian and a parsi, besides she has lived in America for twice as long as the time she has spent in Pakistan.

In Bangladesh, we lost and continue to lose, so many bright minds like this to Western countries with better prospects, I wish they would come back and work for the country.

If this woman, God forbid, was a terrorist or did some horrible crime, some people will have no problems dismissing her as another Pakistani criminal. But since she did something worthwhile, the same people are fighting hard to distance her from Pakistan. The hypocrisy of these rookie propagandists are fascinating to watch.

She is not a Muslim. Let her contribute in the Dar al Harb.
what?
she is working in a place of war? Maybe you were trying to say Dar ul Kufr to look cool, and ended up embarrassing yourself.
Reminds me of some idiots who told the Muslims of the Subcontinent to go to Afghanistan as "Hijrat" to escape the Dar ul Harb. The result was death, destruction and hunger for the Muslims. Why am I not surprised?

its really sad, that we didnt allow her to use her talents in Pakistan.
well at least she is making us proud abroad
also in Pakistan posting depends upon age and gender
elsewhere on the amount of work you do ..
so you can become a professor in your 30s if you have enough publications or work behind you
also no strong political interference that you see in pakistan

.
And to compare this to Pakistan.
One female PhD candidate from karachi university since about 20 yrs, 7 times thesis rejected, obviously having family issues (probably not married & under pressure from family to move on and marry) finally gave up and committed suicide.
Another Dr from karachi, committed suicide by shooting herself after going thru depression.
These and many other cases are due to unfair practices by our so called professor who never pass candidates and take undue advantage by keeping them down
