Pakistan’s mix martial art competitor Ahmed Mujtaba has taken the MMA world by surprise when he was able to lead Pakistan to victory over India against all odds.

Ahmed knocked out his Indian opponent Sanjivan Padwal in the light weight category of the ultimate breakdown 18 event. Ahmed Mujtaba has the best record in PAK MMA so far with all wins and no losses with Amateur Record of 2-0 and Pro Record of 3-0 (via pak-mma.com)

After the match Ahmed was, as expected, thrilled and excited to secure this famous win and he let out his emotions in terrific fashion.

A new power arises in Ultimate Beatdown 18. The longest running Malaysian MMA promotion, usually dominated by Team India witnessed the rise of Team Pakistan as they emerged 2-0 in their Ultimate Beatdown debut over their arch rivals. There was a risk of the strawweight co main event being pulled out from the fight, when Pakistani Faizan Khan missed weight by coming in at 53kg while his opponent Susovan Ghosh was having visa issues at immigration. However, both came to an agreement at the stroke of midnight on the day of the weigh ins.

Faizan was dominating the fight on the feet throwing combos at will while Susovan didn’t find the range to successfully attempt a takedown. One punch too many in the first round had Susovans’s back against the cage and a right hook counter by Faizan knocked him out to the mat. Faizan Khan will now go on to face Fouzein Fozi who is 3-0 in ultimate Beatdown for the inaugral straweight title.

The light weight main event had Pakistani Ahmed Mujtab facing Indian Sanjivan Padwal. A southpaw vs orthodox match up, Ahmed Mujtaba, the othrodox, kept inching toward the Sanjivan’s right early in the round to avoid Sanjivan’s power hand. A superman punch attempt by Ahmed missed and had him dell to the mat with Sanjivan on the top in his guard. Ahmed capitalise on the oppotunity by hooking his right leg over his opponent’s neck and had a tight triangle choke. Sanjivan who was still concious replied with a punch of his own from the top, but the choke has significantly weaken him as Ahmed transisted to the armbar to capture a win for his country. With the win, Ahmed Mujtaba have earned his spot to fight for the Ultimate Beatdown Lightweight title in March 2016.

Yeah because last time we sent kids to fight your professionals. A comment from your own shared link:

These were not even Pakistan’s best fighters since the best are in One FC, a different promotion. Some of these fighters were only making their debut. It would be nice to see SFL host a fairer event instead of only feeding Pakistani fighters to Indian fighters to build Indian hype (which is the same thing the Japanese did with Koreans in the early 2000s in the Japanese promotion Deep).

Looks like your days of fighting kids are numbered.

A loser excuse  well i don't give any childish excuse that indian fighter was an amateur,i honor the decision.

And by your logic pak send kids to international events like commonwealth to embarrass the nation but send pros at a irrelevant event like mma.
