Seems PA learn from Yemani Houthi , an effective use of ATGM in battlefield. New replacement of RPG. It is very effective, cheap and precise weapon for limited strike.

Seems PA learn from Yemani Houthi , an effective use of ATGM in battlefield. New replacement of RPG. It is very effective, cheap and precise weapon for limited strike.

The amount of explosive in the war head of ATGM is enough to take out entrenched defensive positions.

As for the video, guerrillas are hitting lone targets. The destruction is there but damage caused is very less.

1-That's surely an exercise,under no circumstances on LOC,a team would be deployed in that manner.
2-They are very easy pick for counter fire and snipers.
3-None of them is in full battle dress(No helment,BtP Jacket & ammo vest)
4-None of them is carrying personal weapons.
5-None of them is carrying com set.
6-The guy who is videoing this would surely have been shot in such hot skirmish,because he is open target.

Brave soldiers. Shame no helmets and no ear guards though.

Ear guards are for training. In actual operations, hearing is the last consideration. Also the troops are smart enough to know when to put on the helmets and when they are not exposed.

The video is not a training one. The rounds are being fired on actual targets. ATGM live firing training is done in expansive ranges. Not in such terrain. You can see the ATGM traversing built up residential areas under. There is no chance the Army would ever conduct live fire training in such areas. This is as real as it gets.
