I dont think there is an irony here specially when army is an equal stake holder in the political landscape of Pakistan. Not all vote for corrupt tola and some actually do want a change but corrupt tola's are forced upon us due to back room dealings between all these stake holders which also include foreign players but most importantly cannot happen without Army's backing. So the criticism is not all unjust, in fact its pretty much justified considering how much hold army likes to keep on power specially when it comes to foreign affairs and relations with US and India.
Influence in internal politics and foreign policy are different subjects. As I said, it is indeed convenient for us to blame all others yet behaving like being angels. Army works under the same supreme commander that reaches that post through support of people by voting. Let Army to do safety work, security of Pakistan and let it do whatever it is meant to be and people should make change by their own vote so the change may happen otherwise, you & me and everyone else, would be just criticizing or as some vent their frustration even by Insults, for all the life. Let me allow to say that the real power are people and then do the necessary calculation to understand that how to expect a change. When majority create a mess, sees the outcome and aftermath of the same mess, actually expects the change through short-cut via Army. Did we forget all those coups of the past that still, people curse them. Expecting or either provoking the Military for the same thing again, is like we are the enemy of Institute and pushing for an illegal step merely for our own mess and sacrificing the Military in front of the world.
People must understand that these short-cuts have brought nothing to us in the long term, therefore, kindly we need to stand for our rights by ourselves and mere blames wouldn't solve anything. I repeat as either it is Military or any other department, people are the real power and can do anything. Also, Military has always expressed that respects and accepts the decision of people. The same decision where majority chosen Zardari, NS and what not so mow people have to prove that what exactly they want and same will be accepted again by the institution.
Yes, criticism is not bad if it is about constructive and productive arguments but being a habitual complainant and doing nothing on our own part for any change, is merely like fooling ourselves and believing that we did our part while shifting the burden. If the Institute is that corrupt, I am sure, the tola among people should not forget the day when everyone was praising for the first stance of Army in Dawn Leaks. The problem is, actually politically motivated ill dreams of many being shattered those who were expecting that Army will come and clean their mess (Kindly read as majority especially those who supported the corrupt lot and now want to get rid of it). Why the sudden change in heart of many against Military? just because Army did not hanged NS yet which I my opinion should never act against Law & Constitution. (for clarification I am not PMLn at all).
Just try to understand that any such act by Army can damage the prosperity and growth of this country and may push us back again to 10-15 in past. Army interfering or throwing anyone out, actually will invite the usual champions of democracy along-with their packages of sanctions in the name of fighting the dictators. Trust me that as currently, after a long time, we are getting aligned on right path and need to handle everything under the norms of Law and Constitution and in the meantime, the usual enemy and propagandist want us to cut our own arms and foot by doing so that whatever the progress is, can be stopped just because of political unrest and opposing the coup etc and maligning the Army which is the first line of our defence. If we want to clean our house we start from inside and slowly moves towards doors so harming our own guard in advance will actually weaken us just because on the basis of "more propaganda and less reality" thing. As the enemy couldn't success to defeat us and our Army through terrorism, has now actually reached to phase 2 by propaganda, lies and mislead while on other hand creating chaos and anarchy through playing with emotions and frustration.
