sniping, atgm potshots, mortars , even light arty has been the staple of LoC life for both armies,

more recently, pak army has deployed snipers en masse to harass and have optics on the other side, snipers after all, proved very handy in tribal areas and pak army has invested heavily into long range AMRs and other hi end rifles + gotten good hands on experience with deploying sniper pairs to take out targets,

all in all, its no glorious way to fight , id admit, yet if one visits the Loc , i can assure you that PA is simply doing justice to these cowards who shoot civilian tractors, goats and even dogs....

The Indians as usual started firing on our positions and when Pakistan Army returned fire, hitting the Indian soldier, the rest of them most probably fled the area. In earlier reports the Indians were saying ''the missing soldier was most likely hit by Pakistani fire''.....so they knew well.

Usually Indian soldier will take a hit and refuse to die on the spot. It's only when he reach hospital, he will give his life in the arms of a lady doctor, bollywood style!
