Pakistan army had done several Peace keeping mission in Somalia and almost 38( i dont know exactly) soldiers lost their precious lives. On 3 and 4th October 1993 when U.S ranger's 2 Black Hawk Birds were shot down and they were all traped in the Madinah Market , Mogadishu the american commander Major General William F. Garison asked Pakistani General for help. Then Pakistani army sent a Convoy with almost 100 APCs to rescue traped U.S rangers and Delta Force.
