Hi, Ya Ali is a common phrase used often. Not just by shias. And yes they are speaking Pashto because they are FC.

Yeah, a few pointed that out. I thought chanting to Ali rather than Allah was more of a Shia thing

We need to start taking the fight to them each time they try their antics.


Locating high ranking talibs and eliminating them.

The solution for Afghanistan is not conventional or maybe even military in nature, they're masters of guerilla warfare tactics due to their natural terrain and tribal culture, especially against conventional militaries as proven by USA and Soviet Union.

Anyone focused in finding a solution to the Afghanistan issue at an institutional level must at the very least make an effort to learn Pashto and study the history of the Afghans and tribal culture. I imagine they do this in ISI.

Brute force using conventional means won't work. It's a mental game and using methods to wear down their will, or settle disputes in a manner which doesn't hurt their ego. If their ego is hurt it doesn't matter how powerful you are, they'll be willing to die than accept any demands, hence why vests were popular in the Afghanistan campaign.

I too have said things like “oh Allah, give me bravery like that of Hazrat Ali (RA)”
