Nothing as of now. What best can Pakistan do even if someone else places a weapon in space?
This MoU need not be given much attention at least by us.

1. I am aware of the fact that Suparco can develop satellites, and continue to do so. However, Suparco is underfunded and its R&D capabilities are commercial-grade at present. Therefore, do not expect this agency to surprise [us] anytime soon. A cutting-edge spy satellite is like a billion USD per piece, and there is no such thing as cost-effective and off-the-shelf in this domain.Sparco has developed it's own Sat. Pakistan has many more SATs underdevelopment and SPARCO is at helm of it. You are high on American patriotism. Russians are leaders of space age USA still imports Russian engines to send any this in space. India uses Russian engines for it's space program. So what are you telling me about tech when you all use Russian engines for space. Pakistan and Russia delivered warmongers a good message.

2. US is FAR ahead of Russia in spaceborne capabilities at present.
3. US imported Russian RD-180 engines for use in its rockets for a while because Americans wanted to study Soviet high-performance combustion designs, and Russia was a willing supplier. However, Elon Musk's SpaceX agency eliminated the need for these imports because SpaceX develop its own rockets and associated parts including powerful engines.
SpaceX Merlin series: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merlin_(rocket_engine_family)
SpaceX Raptor series: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raptor_(rocket_engine_family)
3. Indian ISRO have developed its own engines for use in its rockets.
ISRO Vikas series: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vikas_(rocket_engine)
And one has to admit that ISRO is far ahead of Suparco, and Indian spaceborne capabilities are far better developed than that of Pakistan.
4. Russia is being a total hypocrite in this publicity stunt with Pakistani FM, given its present-age spaceborne capabilities. Trusting Russia in this matter (i.e. militarization of space) is akin to trusting India in this matter, mind you.
Refer back to point # 3 in my earlier response; do not like to repeat myself again and again.Sir why is mighty USA buying engine from Russia to send stuff in space?
Weaponising space is not difficult. Pakistan has the potential to do this years ago. Anyone who can develop a satellite can weaponise space. You simply make a sattelite that explodes. The idea would be to sling it into close orbit of other satellites and explode it, damaging other sattelites.
It's crude but the concept has existed for years. Anti sattelite missiles is not a huge tech leap either. USA, China, ussr sat on that tech for years.
No, USA, Russia and China are all equally good in their space based military capability. India is almost at the same level except for ability to make heavy launchers which is also in the making. This heavy launcher would also have been completed but was slowed down due to India being relatively poor and budget was difficult.US is FAR ahead of Russia in spaceborne capabilities at present
India used Russian cryogenic engines till 2000s but from this decade India uses only indigenous engines. All PSLV and GSLV are using Indian engine onlySparco has developed it's own Sat. It is much better to use ASAT missile than to use satellite that explodes. Indian ASAT missile hit target in less than 3 minutes whereas any bomb satellite needs a few hours at least to change orbit and then collide with another satellite. Why would you waste hours and days when it is possible to be done in few minutes by ASAT missile?

USA is not much ahead of any major powers as technology has limits and they saturate.

American SpaceX agency have taken over these missions since 2012: https://www.spacex.com/missions
100% indigenious American rocket and engines - nothing Russian in there.
Just look at the size of that monster (Falcon Heavy; 27 engines in total) - Russians have nothing at par at present.

And here is another reality for you: Pakistani armed forces have access to American GPS network and Chinese Beidou network for its defense-related needs up against India. Suparco cannot deliver on these ends.
Not that far behind. Pakistani space program was started in the 60's with MIRV tech and re-entry vehicles. It was mothballed because lack of funds and necessity. But when funds are available and the need of the hour is upon us it won't take long to catch up with endia. We will not be close to amreeka but endia definitelyUS have 'surprises' up there but information is really limited.
Pakistan's space program is far behind Indian, let alone American.
how can we deploy weapons in space when we have none
bhai yeh sharmana choro ..yeh pardahdari kab talak..Space is already militarized but Pakistan is lacking in this domain in a big way. No surprises from our side in this area.
Militarizing space is a multi-billion USD program, and we are really short on funds and capability in this domain. We do not have SLVs, high-tech spy satellites, and/or astronauts in space, so putting weapons in space is out of question in our case.
