. .
Used Polish F-16s are for sale or not?
If Pakistan want the used F-16 then they met CAS or Defence Minister not Minister for Defence Production. On the other hand PAF has very old relationship with Polih Air Force as after Independence Polish pilots flew PAF fighters.

.
Looking at geo political chess board at the moment, this is bad move.

.
Good, we get along with Ukraine, so let's extend that to other country's in Eastern Europe.

What Poland can offer in terms of weapons and tech?

What Poland can offer in terms of weapons and tech?
Most of Poland's major programs are joint ventures - e.g. a self-propelled howitzer with Ukraine, a truck howitzer with France and the Czech Republic, etc. If anything, Pakistan shouldn't be seeking only material things, but rather, it ought to consider Polish expertise and experience in developing valuable and cost efficient joint ventures, engage in capacity building (e.g. research and development, establishing technical training facilities, etc).

PS: Poland does have its own assault and battle rifle program (@Zarvan).

With an increasingly aggressive and assertive Russia, Poland is quickly becoming a frontline state against Russian influence. It's geopolitical standing is not only increasing, but will become one of the most important within the next few decades.

I feel as if Pakistan is pulling another Mirage situation, where it is going around to F-16 nations and negotiating for the purchase of used F-16s.

Do you think there might be a chance with Poland? Or am I just being naive here?

Shows that Pakistan is still a strong non-NATO ally and is strongly saddled in the Western camp.

Interesting to see how Russia and China would react.

May be Pakistan is also planning to host Western BMD like Poland now that India is planning to procure S-400 & S-500s.

they cant afford western systems. the usa wont sell the patriot and the ground based aster is too expensive. intrestingly they were offered a "long range " system but refused to allow local maintainance.but that was years ago. during the mushy era. i think it was the italians.
india has not even signed for the s400. only china is a confirmed buyer. the s500 is only a poser on the wall.

It is the location of Pakistan which is important not the cost.

S-400 deal with Russia would be closed by India. There is no hurry as Russia would not be delivering them to either China or India until Russia completes its induction.

:hitwall: why don't you just keep to your national sport, trolling and leave serious things like geo-political analysis to those who can.

Very minute chance ... they only operate Block-52+, and those are practically new. Unless the Polish Air Force is planning to downsize by storing away some of those F-16s, I don't think Polish F-16s are on the cards. Given that Poland sent a fairly high-level delegation, I expect they're trying to sell us something, potentially their MSBS 556/762 rifle.
