Pak-Turk bilateral trade volume to cross $1 bln: Commercial Attaché
KARACHI: The volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and Turkey will cross one billion dollars in the next one year.
Nail Ersoy, Commercial Attache, Turkish Consulate General said this while talking to Geo News here on Thursday.
He said the bilateral trade between the two countries has recorded an increase of 25 to 30 percent in the last five years. However, this rise came to a halt during the last year due to the global economic meltdown.
The Turkish Commercial Attache said that Turkeys rice import from Pakistan has gone up by 16 per cent in the last one year while Turkish companies are investing in alternative energy and construction sectors in Pakistan.
