@BHarwana

Perfect!

Half the work done already.

Now all they have to do is to add The Maldives Phase.

Hi,

Isn't that delegated to indian military?

Sadly, no.

The fresh young blood that has come into strategy-making for Pakistan direct from PDF has already pre-empted our old and creaky military with its brilliant insights. It has been decreed by them that a PN initiative, backed by Saudi Arabia, will enable Pakistan to take over the Maldives, establish a naval base there and supplement Beijing's efforts to bring peace and normalcy and the benefits of single-entity rule to the Indian Ocean. My feeble attempts at standing against this were brushed aside with less than respect by your young lions, who pointed out that a few mines strategically located would prevent the IN from even approaching the Maldives, particularly as they added, with astonishing 360 degree views of the order of battle, that the IN had a serious deficiency of mine-sweepers. The radical new technology that would allow the PN to defeat their own mines is being carefully guarded.

Perhaps you haven't had an opportunity to read other threads.

This means the end of South Asia as we Indians have known it. But change is inevitable, and the increasing brilliance of the posts on this forum have made it clear how this change will manifest itself.

I read Patterson years ago, nearly 40 years ago, maybe more, actually. Recently, I watched something called the Ghost and the Darkness, fitfully, getting interrupted every now and then; I think it is the same story, in film form, but glammed up. A fascinating story. Very patronising, but that's how it was.

Ghost and the Darkness is indeed the same story but is perhaps the worst film adaption of any book, EVER! It is dull to be honest while the book was great.

Anyway, back to the Pak-Saudi Naval exercises now.

You have too see them in real life.. a very different picture but terrifying nonetheless.
