This is common sense, why would US do anything about it, do you guys think CIA is blind that they don't know what the Indians are upto, Former US defence sect, openly admitted India's role in Afghanistan was to destabilize Pakistan, every country has its own national interests, A stable Balochistan with Gwadar is not in many countries interests including India, they would do anything to derail this and the PCEC project, this is the basis of international relations.
US doesn't want a major single power threatening the western interests in this region, They would use India to counter Chinese influence, and at the same time they will arm Pakistan to make sure India doesn't get out of line, an example can be of 500 AIM-120C's BVR air to air missiles sold to Pak under Bush regime, it was part of the package to help Pak to counter terrorists, TTP doesn't have aircraft, the message is simple, one is corporate reasons the other is to make sure everyone remains engaged in this region and never becomes strong enough to challenge the interests of western allied nations, an example can be of selling 20-25 Apaches to India and selling 15 AH-1Z Vipers along with 1000 helfires to Pakistan, there are a lot of examples if one looks at history of this region, being a student of international relations, this is my view, I hope everyone agrees with this !!!
