Pak-India backdoor talks: Shah Mehmood Qureshi leaves for UAE today

If India and Pakistan are having a back door talk, it would not be possible unless India concedes something to Pakistan which in my opinion can’t be anything else other than reverting the decisions of fifth of August.

We have been talking ,back door, front door ,no door ,all doors for 70 years did India concede anything,paties change external policy dsnt change much specially it's conceding something.

So India going back to pre 5 aug 2019 position.

Aug 5th is done and dusted,not coming back ,but what will be sold is statehood will be restored and 370 and 35A not coming back.

And why would they do that? They don't have anyone pressuring them to revert 5th August decision. 90% of the world doesn't care, America is so busy in china they don't care, india has effectively mostly neutralize the kashmiri freedom movement, they have support from the common people so why would they do that? Because pak, a country which is in no position to go to war with india till atleast 5-8 years at very minimum whats india to revert the decision?. Not gonna happen.

Nicely analysed... I have seen very few Instances where Modi took u turn... So it is unlikely to happen. What I feel is j&k will further split in two and Jammu would made into district... This will allow administration to have better control. Kashmir would be UT where Centeral Govt will rule indirectly tackling dissent voices. You already see that roots and stone pelting has reduced considerable.. This way India has able isolate the dissenting ppl.. why India will forego whatever it has gained. What India is going to gain from talking to Pak? It is just to show world we are talking... Unless Pak brings something tangible to table, nothing is going to change.
