Pak honours Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Indian Urdu scholar Gopichand Narang

Noted Urdu scholar and former president of Sahitya Akademi, Prof Gopichand Narang, is among the recipients of one of Pakistans top civilian award, Sitara-e-Imtiaz,this year.

Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari announced the awards on the occasion of his countrys Independence Day.
