Pak-France strategic talks next month

ISLAMABAD - Secretary-level bilateral strategic partnership talks between Pakistan and France will be held in Paris next month, diplomatic sources said on Sunday.
According to the sources, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry will hold the follow-up talks with his French counterpart to discuss host of issues including measures to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries.
These sources further said that Pakistan wants to take advantage to enhance its external trade in the wake of GSP Plus status granted to it by the European Union.
Pakistan’s trade with European Union stands about 1.4 billion euros a year back and eighty per cent of the trade volume includes textile exports from Pakistan.
Likewise, the diplomatic sources further said that other important issues including bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields including defence and education would also be discussed during the Paris talks next month.

No we can't, France already rejected it in the past because of Indian concern & other reasons. Forget anydeal with Europe in Defence they will NOT help.

Well France had to sell soem planes to India so they were nice to them however we cannot forget that the mirage platform did serve us well for sometime and same with Agosta

French are special case , we have to deal with them case by case basis
