What are you guys celebrating for? You don't know what this means for a Lucknowi.
Lucknow is ours, its mine and we will free it from India.
A Pakistani family on a visit to Mumbai was refused rooms by several lodges and small hotels, apparently because they were not geared to handle the paperwork relating to registration of foreigners.
The Karachi-based family of six, who had visas to visit India, travelled to Jodhpur and spent some time with family friends before coming to Mumbai on Wednesday.
The visitors, who included three women and a child, went to the famous Haji Ali dargah to pray for an ailing member.
But their ordeal began soon thereafter, as many small hotels and lodges in central Mumbai refused to give them rooms.
Taking pity on them, officials of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) at Bombay Central station then gave them some shelter and a room to sit and get refreshed. They also provided them some food.
While an RPF spokesperson refused to comment on the incident, sources in the force said that a sub-inspector and other junior officials took pity on the family members who were sitting on the pavement outside the main railway terminal.
They checked their documents and then took them to a small room where they were given food. The Pakistani family left for Jodhpur on Thursday, cutting short their visit to Mumbai by a few days.
According to sources, there are scores of non-star hotels and lodges in central Mumbai, but most of them are not geared to deal with foreigners. When a hotel provides room for a foreigner, it has to make a separate entry in its register and also inform the foreigner's registration office of the local police by means of a form 'C,' within 24 hours of the foreigner checking in. Last year, the union ministry of home affairs introduced an online registration system for foreigners, but many of the smaller hotels, including in smaller cities, have not implemented the system.
They are supposed to manually enter the details in the C form and send it to the foreigner's registration office. Smaller hotels do not have these registers or forms, nor do they have personnel familiar with the rules, so they avoid giving rooms to foreigners, whether Pakistanis or other nationalities. Many also do not want to deal with the foreigner's registration office.
The police have also cracked down on hotels for not informing the FRO about foreigners checking in. Consequently, the smaller properties are reluctant to give rooms to foreigners as it involves a lot of paper work or installation of special software.
What are you guys celebrating for? You don't know what this means for a Lucknowi. They were not going to India, they were going to their own land, for them Jodhpuri is their identity. Its hard for some of us Pakistanis to understand for some reason. This is where the entire root of the problem lies. Instead of being happy about them going to their original land-possibly shoring up support among muslims there for Pakistan we blame them.
Lucknow is ours, its mine and we will free it from India. But we need an attitude correction. If we become one will we continue treating them separate or will we merge the muslims left there in the national fabric. India is blocking access to us in our own lands. This is despicable to say the least.
We do the same thing actually to our hindus. Deepak Perwani was refused access to a hotel because he mistakenly mentioned the word India. Both nations need to grow up. And if India blocks access to us to our own land then we will find ways to come there despite.
No thank you. There is no connection. No link. No nothing with india. The indian Muslims have nothing to do with us. Any Pakistani who may have relatives in india is neither here nor there. There are even more Persians/Baloch living in SW Pakistan who have relatives living in Iran. Should Iran and Pakistan become 1 nation? That is more likely to happen then any union with india. The Muslims in india are the same race as the hindus. It's their internal matter not ours. The indians have their nation, race, religion, culture and rules and we have our own. Both are mutually exclusive and completely different.
Very, very valid point. It is time this issue was resolved. If and I repeat if the defining and only aspect of Pakistan is Islam then that has to be declared and more importantly actioned on. In Islam there is only the Islamic brotherhood. If you follow that and are true to that rationales then every Muslim on earth ought to have right to Pakistan and Pakistan to it. From Morroco to Indonesia.
To begin with what about the Muslims on on western borders? Are they not Muslim? Why can't they have the same applied to them. Unless this is some poor attempt at reviving that British built slave ship called British Raj which was built by British at gun point. In 1947 four provinces voted to go their way. They clubbed into the federation called "Pakistan".
india is involved in sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan and has been involved in state terrorism in kashmir for the last 30 years, if a hindu family came to pakistan and was denied a place to stay based off the action of the indian government against the kashmiris and against destabalizing pakistan, i can assure you most pakistanis would be upset and wouldn't come on here and defend it, it goes against the nature of pakistani culture to deny a guest a place to stay in, you're posts summarizes you're ignorance, why generalize what 8 people did 7 years ago on a 2 women a 55 year old man and a 7 year old kid?India is land of Hindus. We all know Muslims came from outside. And sir hatred towards pakistanis is not because of religion. It is because of state sponsored terrorism of Pakistan. We can not forget 26/11. And culprits of 26/11 are roaming freely in Pakistan. So how can you expect we will welcome you?
She probably stayed in 5/3 star hotels. These situations happen in cheap hotels.Interestingly, My aunt went to Mumbai for treatment in 2010, this is barely two years after 26/11.. and they were very well received there. No angst was shown against Pakistan in general and everyone was generally welcoming.
So its either 1 or 2.
1. This family was generally unlucky and considering their itenary planning, simply ended up choosing the wrong area and went too cheap.
2. Indians have become more vile and hateful under PM Modi and have lost their humanity.

You do gave my answer.. Hindu word is not mentioned in any Vedas first of all...Aryans is the first who invaded India..India is land of Hindus. We all know Muslims came from outside. You mean to say no sikh people is allowed in pakistan from india???What are you guys celebrating for? You don't know what this means for a Lucknowi. We have no love for India or its people. They have oppressed us and killed our relatives and loved ones. What is needed is shotgun diplomacy, not a bull charging at whatever it sees as red. My obsession is with Pakistan becoming stronger. If you do not see that it is unfortunate.F*ck Lucknow. Even my family is from Hyderabad but that doesn't matter even a tiny bit for me. Those who go to India for whatever reason deserve similar humiliation. I would celebrate any such humiliation to Pakistanis who go to India to meet some so called bajrangi bhaijan or still have some kind of positive and soft corner for India. India is an enemy and should be treated in the same manner.
Muslims of India are not our responsibility. They are nothing more than a source to bash India even further. We have no claim on Lucknow and India can do whatever it wants with this city. You need to come back to Pakistan. Lucknow is long gone. Your obsession with this stupid city is simply moronic.
I am just saying everything is not black and white mate. Pakistan currently is not even a regional power and has missed so many opportunities to strengthen itself things almost look hopeless. A strong nation is strong internally. It does not discriminate against its minorities. You do gave my answer.. Hindu word is not mentioned in any Vedas first of all...Aryans is the first who invaded India..
From the birth of Pakistan India is the one who support all ill activities in Pakistan..formed baloach terrorist...formed mukti bahini terrorist..supplied arms and ammunition to TTP...killing kashmiris in IOK...
MQM terrorist recently held in UK red handed taking money from RAW...
You mean to say no sikh people is allowed in pakistan from india???

Is this crap still going on? My two cents on this. Look at it on the bright side. This should teach them ( others ) not to go to India. There are 120 countries to go to.
Choose them. Period.
He is pissed because I showed some love to his beloved leader Noora
And this needs to be copyrighted and taught to all school children. We is we they is they and the twain shall NEVER meet.
In 1947 we defeated the British imposed project to unite us by force with these people.

MUMBAI: A trip to 'Maximum City' turned bitter for a family from Pakistan. After visiting the iconic Haji Ali dargah, the family of six from Karachi found that no hotel or lodge was willing to give them rooms. When their efforts to return to their relatives' house in Jodhpur too failed, the family - which included three women and a boy - had no option but to spend the night on a footpath.

The family had arrived in India last week, and had stayed a while with relatives in Jodhpur. They had arrived in Mumbai, with two things on their agenda - a visit to Haji Ali and an attempt to meet Bollywood star Salman Khan.
"After being with our relatives in Jodhpur for over a week, we decided to visit the Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai for ziyarat (prayers). We arrived in Mumbai on October 14 morning, went to the shrine and returned from there after prayers," said Noor Banu, who had come to India with her brother Inayat Ali (55), nephew Shakeel Ahmed, two other women and a seven-year-old boy.
After a visit to Haji Ali, the family had tried to find accommodation. That's when their trauma started.
"I asked the family to wait near a hotel at Bhenzi Bazaar and began searching for a hotel or lodge. Till the evening I visited around a dozen lodges, but everyone refused to admit us since we are from Pakistan," said a bitter Shakeel Ahmed.
"What is the problem in providing us accommodation when the Indian government has given us valid visas?" he added.
"The little boy, who watched the 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' movie, is a big fan of Salman Khan. We thought we will try to meet Salman Khan too. However, the experience has been bitter. I don't want to say more. We just want to leave and reach home as early as possible," said Ahmed.
After they were turned away by a dozen lodges and hotels, the family decided to return to Jodhpur. They went to the Mumbai Central Railway station to take a train, but were stopped by the railway protection force (RPF).
The RPF personnel told the family that there was no train for Jodhpur late in the night and that they would have to come the next day. The family could also not spend the night on the platform, as that is not permitted in Mumbai.
So, they come out of the station and took the only option open to them - spend the night on a footpath.
On Thursday morning, the family left for Jodhpur. "We are going from Mumbai, but don't want to go with bitter memories. However, one will think about the treatment given to him or her on foreign soil," said Banu. The family did not approach the police, saying their priority was to reach home at the earliest.
When a reporter told Ahmed that the Indians' attitudes towards Pakistan changed after the 26/11 terror attacks, Ahmed said, "Even we feel bad for it. However, one cannot malign the image of all Pakistanis because of that."
