Because there is nothing illegal to transfer technology to Pakistan. The devices were mainly analytical tools and these are not a threat to anyone

Pakistan Space agency , and other organizations are civilian programs for research and economic benefit of Pakistan , and all such organizations should have healthy supply of technology items to keep them in top shape

Worse come to worse check with Turkey , Russia, China

Without the consent of US gov You simply can't export anything it is as simple as that and that is why he is rightfully behind the bars.

I hope US will set precedent by serving some harsh punishment.

I think the problem is there is a witch hunt in USA against anything related to Pakistan , so we should just get Indian export person to buy items and ship it to Pakistan it will keep both indians and Pakistanis happy on board

You are cheering on a criminal.. Such short term benefit actions always come back and bite you on your a$$.. Ask the people of Pakistan who are paying for similar strategies of Pakistani administration of 1980's and 1990's
