QUETTA: Free preparatory classes have been arranged for the young students in Balochistan by Pakistan Army in collaboration with National University of Science and Technology (NUST) Islamabad and Pakistan Petroleum Limited.

According to the ISPR, a panel of qualified instructors from NUST are teaching and guiding the students for entry test.

The aim of organizing these classes is to guide the students of less developed areas where coaching academies are not available or they can’t afford to study in those institutes. Around 150 students across Balouchistan are attending these classe

Commander Southern Command Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa, while talking to the students, said that education is key to career progression and youth must focus on their education.

Excellent excellent initiative...a similar step should be taken in former FATA region to integrate tribal people into the society and especially army... I hope some responsible army official reads my comment though I'm positive they may already be on it :pakistan:

You would think it would be the civilian government's job to provide education in Pakistan but they are too busy transferring money to foreign accounts.

This is a welcome development, without doubt NUST is one the premier engineering institutions of South Asia if not the finest, hopefully NUST can impart it's standard of excellence to these youths.

Congrats on expansion of Pakistan Military

only army in the world which runs private university/education business hahahaha
