The Red Dragon's Over Jamrud Fort.

An Aerobatic team of red Sabres, call sign "Red Dragons", (the second team to carry this name) pulls up over Jamrud Fort for its last display at Jamrud range.

The Chief Guest on this occasion was H M Raza Shah Pehlavi, the Shahinshah of Iran. This display was held on 9 March 1967. Apart from carrying out standard aerobatics, and many formation changes, this team performed most of the stunt manoeuvres for which the world's leading aerobatics teams were known at the time.

No 14 Sqn was ordered to be ready for immediate strikes.
On 7 Sep 1965, Sqn Ldr Shabbir Hussain led formations of F-86 Sabre Jets on two separate strike missions on a well-defended enemy airfield at Kalaikunda. These PAF strikes destroyed, on ground ,10 Canberra Light Bombers...

The Hunter was intercepted by two Mirages scrambled from Mianwali. The pair was led by Flt Lt Safdar Mahmood, with Flg Off Sohail Hameed as his wingman.

The Northrop F-20 Tigershark.

A move was also made in the 1980s to market the aircraft to the Pakistan Air Force with a license production manufacture of the aircraft.

It was evaluated by a Pakistani contingent in the United States, with the F-20 being flown by Abbas Mirza, a senior Pakistani Air Force fighter pilot. The F-20 which they rejected in favor of Vipers.
