PAF trainer aircraft crashes near Pindi Gheb
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

ISLAMABAD: A basic trainer aircraft (Mashak) of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on Thursday crashed near Dhoke Pathan Bridge, in Pindi Gheb area.

According to PAF Spokesman, the crash was apparently due to some technical fault developed in the aircraft. However a board of enquiry has been constituted the probe into the crash.

its criminal negligence to keep mushaks in service. they're good for nothing. even in the late 70s we had the option of getting tandem 2 seat propeller planes (pilatus) with ejection seats - - -now even cheaper options are available like super tucano. these are armed as well and make great COIN assets. we're killing our own boys by not having an aircraft with ejection seats. and also one which would be redundant in time of war

i think basic trainers dont have ejection seats and its really cheap to operate them but tucanos are designed for combat from scratch and they amy be used as trainers ...:undecided:

It is even more negligence to keep T-37 in service....When did they enter service in PAF again?

Bad things happen. Doesnt mean you all gung ho against Mushak.
Hell.... Someone should tell PAC to think about a replacement.
What are they doing anyway to replace the Mushak?
