What type of SAM are in the clip at 2:11 and 4:28 ?

I don't think so, Crotale SAM system was shown before 2:11, and is very clear, radar mounted on vehicle and four missile mounted on vehicle.

Where SAM system shown on time 2:11 and 4:28 is completely different fixed radar and four different static launchers.

My best guess is that this is dummy SAM system for target
if it is real then it could be PL-9 SAM but possibility of this system is very less because this system is used by army. What else it could be? Note also radar is static. What you guys think about this.

so what we are known for using our system for as long as 30-40 years lol
anyways last year there was some news that PAF is replacing it's short-medium range air defence system with rbs-70(much superior to manpads like anza mki.ii.iii,mistrel and stinger) and MBDA SPADA​

Yes, crotale is an OLD OLD system ... but i do remember some news about completion of an upgrade to entire crotale fleet, not more than a couple of years ago.

Does anyone know what upgrades were taken with crotale system ?

yeah you are right they were upgraded to crotale 4000 standard but that doesn't even makes him any near close to spada​

Ofcourse ... Spada is a beast ...

Crotales are there to stop enemy fighters from making low level ground attack runs ... to force them to fly high ... where they are visible from far away (using ground radars) and also prone to emergency cap counter missions.

both crotale and spada have same purpose they both can hit targets from short range to medium range
but for high altitude we have or we would "hq-9" the best long range anti-aircraft missile in asia

PAF upgrades Crotale missiles indigenously

ISLAMABAD: Opening a new chapter of indigenisation and self-reliance in defence systems, Pakistan Air Force has indigenously overhauled surface-to-air anti-aircraft Crotale missiles and upgraded its range.

The roll-out ceremony of this indigenously overhauled Crotale missiles was held on Thursday at the PAF Base, Chaklala. Air Chief Marshal Pervaiz Mehdi Qureshi, Chief of the Air Staff, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Terming it a landmark, official sources said the PAF has indigenously enhanced the Crotale missile original range of 20 kilometres to 30 kilometres. "The existing Crotale 2000 have been upgraded to Crotale 4000," said an official source.

"The overhauling of Crotale weapon system in the country holds out great promise, and will go a long way in enhancing our indigenous engineering skills," said Chief of Air Staff ACM Qureshi while speaking at the ceremony. "The present government has accorded high priority to self-reliance and indigenisation so as to stand on our feet in all the critical fields."

He said the Crotale overhaul programme is a major step in the direction of achieving self-reliance and indigenisation of weapon systems. In particular, the air chief thanked Mr Massel, the Managing Director of Thompson-CSF Air Systems, for sparing his valuable time and coming all the way from France to attend this ceremony.

In the normal course, had the overhaul of Crotale missiles been done in France, the cost could have touched $ 23 million. "But we have done it less then half of this amount," said a senior official.
