Last time we got news that Pakistan got Chinese AWACS unfortuntly just one picture available on the internet

Electronic scanning in the vertical plane....with an assumed beamwidth of 60.. beam moved on horizontal axis mechanically.

IAF also has Disc type Awac's but it's powered by Turbojet Engine ,there are no Propeller based Awac's with IAF

I might be wrong but the dish version AWACS has three segments and does not look the same as what can be seen on the older PAF pic. The nose is different. The dish looks bigger. Maybe it is the version that PLAAF will get. Interesting pictures anyway.

It is difficult to say until more real time data is released. China still have to do some catch to be at par with west/Israel.
