Things like these happen everywhere, its first time that media has got some information on that and these A-Holes are jumping up and down on getting a "hot story".

If its not ignited by any mechanical failure then a possible reason could be refueling aircraft without using proper earthing...something like this.

Explains it much better if it indeed was a case. Media reported that Maintenance, short circuit in fuel tank, fire. Which seems improbable because fuel is drained out prior to maintenance. Seems like another shosha by some guy.

What fire tenders PAF uses? Oshkosh, Stryker or something like that or just plain old Hino?? I've seen Hino trucks at PAA so I am guessing same in PAF?

U.S.A can afford these type of incidents but Pakistan can't afford to loose Million dollar plane.
Pak government should cover these expenses from these fragile/lazy engineers so that next time everybody take care of these expensive gadgets. I am smelling politics in selection process of engineers in PAF.

Are you aware of the selection process? You don't just select engineers, they go through numerous colleges first.

Google the recent incidents. just a month ago, they overloaded fuel in the plane that caused leakage in Passenger plane and Pilots were forced for emergency landing due to leakage of fuel.

Point 1- the airplane was already on the ground, so it was not forced to land.

Point 2- the fault was found out to be a mon working, fuel Gauge in the aircraft.

Point 3- engineers don't fuel the aircraft.

Point 4- and most important of all, what the flying fu** has it got to do with PAF.

It's a machine my friend it WILL HAPPEN and not much you can do about it.. PAF is very good at pretty much everything but sometimes ,somthings do happen like what just happen simple as that it's part of mainting a airforce or any other force simply.

And the fuel overflowed, not leak. Big difference. Furling is carried out by PSO and ground handling.

Seems like the media hyping up incidents does have an effect on some people.

We have to wait for bhoja air inquiry, but weather is the suspect.

Mirage crash, investigation going on.

Mushak crash, again investigation going on.

The only instance where the cause has been found are Fokker crash and air blue. Both pilot negligence/fault.

So it would be pretty rude to say lazy engineers.

And the culprits will be most probably identified by PAF.
