It is already in the net for last two-three days that IAF lost jets mostly at the ground!

I have read this in TOI. Pakistan at that time had superior Aircrafts. Not surprised and also there was poor co-ordination between Army and Airforce. BTW I am interested in the end result!!

His conscience awoke after so many years. Now lets wait for other Indians to come and admit defeat.

 :argh: ....why stop on September 22nd? Take it all the way to January 2nd, 2016. Include the war of the 71st in these celebrations too, and in between, celebrate a future nuke war in November too, as it may not get celebrated ever, and then enjoy Christmas and the New Year.

The entire India should be off and people should just have fun for straight 5 months for a sad event that took place like 50 years ago, where so many innocents got killed. Good work India??

I think after 50 years, time has come for both sides to open up, admit the losses, mistakes and close these issues.

In every war blunders happen, some unknowingly and some deliberately due to different factors.

Doesn't matter who incurred what losses..we might have lost more jets but we were the final winners..win is what matters..it is like a team has scored 300 without losing any wicket and the other team chases it down by losing 9 wickets..what counts finally is victory.

how did you win? 22 days of fighting and you couldn't capture LAHORE your initial objective.
