They are really are not. RCS is at the end a sum of the radar return of everything on the aircraft. Which is why when people discuss ridiculous RCS measures for the JF-17; they forget that at some point it wont matter at all.

He may not have such a large RCS, simply because most big balloons are transparent to radar signals and filled with air.

I don't know what's up with all this F-35 chatter, imho I think it's awesome that Asian countries are collaborating and developing their economies with initiatives like the JF-17 joint development program.

Not that there's anything wrong with giving Lockheed a chance should they want to offshore production for Asian market clients at some point, but I think that may be out of scope for a US defence contractor... They've got enough problems with their domestic economy as it is.
