Well technically the current circumstances fall under a betrayal of trust by United states against government of Pakistan and of course our Military and Airforce.

Because we had a understanding , a gentleman's agreement on working together to dismantle certain elements.

Unfortunately , with the going sole strategy , is damaging

I mean when you Ally , backstabs you obviously our Airforce was not expecting such a blatant disregard for airspace violation.

What we as a nation need to do is

a) Organize , as get our priorities stright
b) Get some Regular planes up in air around the FATA region air patrols
c) Go in side Afghanistan if we get credible source that someone is doing
something fishy


As always I say we need to go into Afghanistan and Take it over

But we need to continue to work with our Allies
like China and get some SAM's and J10B as soon as possible

And get the Spares from US for F16

The bigger picture is that OBL was also Pakistan's problem and he was going to be taken out anyways , but now that our Gov and Army /Airforce has prespective

I am sure they will not be bad mouthed or head to US to collect medals

We have 150-160 Chinese planes , which can easily Patrol the FATA regions and protect Pakistani Air Space

Mean while we can get some things done in writing with Americans , and get our spares and the financial dues paid on time

We do need to get our J10B arriving / and Chinese AWACs

But we have enough fire power so nothing to worry about
Another 30 JF17 Thunders will arrive by next year

The Problem has been that Congress has been asking why was OBL in Pakistan , well the answer is simple

EARTH QUAKES in pakistan, Floods in Pakistan Million people moving around - devestations etc

Also realistically if Intelligence was shared

Right now Pakistan/US would have been enjoying a great ocassion to dismantle a very disturbing force active in Pakistan but now we find ourselves in awkward position.

But There are some good intelligent people - in our side as well

This whole episode shows how difficult it is to play a double game. The PA, the PAF and the GoP get so confused trying to play a double game on us that they forget to play their primary game, i.e. operating and protecting the Pakistani Nation! Oh! Well! What's good for the goose (us) is good for the gander (you). If we are going to be backstabbed by your leaders, than you need to be backstabbed by them, too, so you know how WE feel! Unfortunately contrary to your believes , Pakistan is a large country, with vast areas of the land 100% remote , and its very easy also to sneak into some remote areas in a normal pick up

We had massive earth quakes , 2005-2006, where Millions and Million of local residents were moving , and when such huge number of people move , its close to impossible to track 1-2 people which could have been used to sneak in unwelcomed guests.

While our Nation was busy , providing food and shelter to victims of earth quakes and flood , its possible 1-2 people may have slipped but our Army/Airforce / Nation was helping victims of floods/earthquake

As far as, the owner ship of the home , its very easy to get such permits in Pakistan - things in real estate are not as stringent in Pakistan as they are in US and also the building structure (barbed wire, and huge walls) are common in Pakistani homes, to prevent theifs

Such structures are common as 711 store in US or Mcdonalds.

According to the reports the victim (alleged mastermind of certain operations) was house bound 100% so it was impossible even if Pakistani Army/Police had check posts how can you spot someone if they never get out of their home.

And there are millions and million of homes where people don't know their neighbors

One of the biggest problems that Pakistan has not been able to explain to US media look Pakistan is not US

a) In Pakistan , we do not have the infrastructure for tracking real state property (Things are done on paper and pencil)
b) Also , we do not have even electronics in Policing , and we still use pen and paper just to show how weak our local law structure is
c) Also we do not have drones to patrol the borders to track any one coming from remote mountain areas into Pakistani territories we requested
drones for years and helicopters

Really in all honesty , US was never serious -

One may ask ok so why did you not spot the UNPAID property tax?

Reason : No one pays property tax in Pakistan lol so its common for ppl not to pay taxes ...

Bottom line is if US has shared intelligence , we could have captured Bin laden a live

I do agreee 100% we have FAILED on control management and public relations aspect

Because we could not ......explain things

We always were open 100% to work together but what we got was a backstabbing
which will take decades to heal if it ever does


This is 100 times more painful then the F16 betrayal in 80s

I think Pakistan has already paid a huge price by being humilited by our so called ally

And I think we did not deserve this kind of PR

The misconception US citizens / folks have about Pakistan is its like USA , you punch in 2-3 items in computer and you get information , you run a scan on a number plate you get information - you do DNA test you can figure out who lived there

Look this is Pakistan , we are not even what US was in 1895 , in term of industrial power , the train tracks we got are from 1800 the ones that British built for us

70% of Pakistan lives in Farms , with no cars, no Electricity or barely any technology

There is a huge gap in civilian security infrastructure in place and Pakistani Police is the weakest organization in whole country ....

The Educated , politicians in US , know this fact I mean you can find Hiliry clinton's confession about mistakes in US policies when Pakistan was left on its own in 80's and also John Kerry is pretty clear he understands

And there was a reason why US paid 10 billion or 7 billion commitment to improve policing and other local gov run organizations like police etc courts

Army's job is to Protect borders

Police's job is to watch civilian / criminals locally and our Police System is weakest in Asia

This was POLICE'S Failure !! and Failure of our Local institues

Not as much as the Airforce / Army / Navy or even Government

I think We need to FIX OUR POLICE , and special operation units (Police, SWAT)
and I think US and Pakistan could work together on this item


THIS IS PAKISTAN POLICE FAILURE BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT DETECT OBL
LETS FIX PAKISTAN POLICE AND US SHOULD GIVE US SOME ASSISTANCE

NYPD would be great training start for our local police some solid tracking systems

Really Army ? or Airforce I mean they are not even trained for policing they are trained to fight other Army and Airforces not search for 1 random person

I mean if you have a tooth ache you go to dentist not to Chiropractor

US has been courting , politicians, army , navy airforce every one but really its about our POLICE !!!

If we had a SOLID POLICE AND JUSTICE SYSTEM , I think things would have been different

Army & Airforce or Navy also none of our politicians know anything about Policing

Policing is not their job - nor they have professional training in such areas

Its a simple logical answer

A policeman in Pakistan makes 50-100$/month , and with absolute minimum training
these units are not trained for the professional job of investigating something at level of OBL which is an international incident

A SOLID POLICE FORCE IS ANSWER AND WAY FORWARD A FORCE AT LEVEL OF INTERPOL IF WE CAN ACHIVE THAT THEN ITS GOOD
