PAF C-130E participates in Rodeo 2007.
PAF C-130E arrives at McChord AFB, Washington to participate in Rodeo 2007, Air Mobility Command annual airlift readiness competition. this a/c is one of an initial batch of 2 former RAAF C-130Es that have entered PAF service over the last year or so. while a further 4 ex-RAAF a/c are also due to join them after refurbish.
Afghan AF to receive 186 a/c by 2012.
AAF head revealed that the US is to deliver 186 a/c to the AAF over the next 5 years as it attempts to rebuild after years of neglect. it will include helicopters, recce a/c and other fixed wing assets but no jet fighters.
