Not confirmed because CAC is rumored to be coming to collaborate in this project whom we have worked on JFT, and J-31 is SAaC project.

It could be J-20.

It is rumored that CAC have put several design options in front of PAF and they are also willing to have PAF input in design, as PAF is looking for a 5.5gen then it could be single engine J-20 version or something very different, PAF have seen TFX design phase so they can provide input in their NGF jet.

I personally disagree. The cost could be a very big problem if things go that way.

It's Pakistan's land and their relationship with China. How can anyone influence what they build , military or otherwise . Now it's a different question of it's good or bad for them in the long run.
If India has the wherewithal then they should recognize Taiwan, Tibet and build naval bases in Taiwan or VN. If they can't they should not whine.

Blk 1 and 2 are 4th gen. Blk 3 is knocking on the door of 4.5 gen (will incorporate aspects of it) .

It's an easy to spot propaganda that Pakistan-China defence cooperation is happening under CPEC.

There are plenty of other frameworks which both countries can employ and have been employing before CPEC became a reality. Why would Pakistan and China would use infrastructure development framework for military purposes? Doesn't make sense - but here you see ill-intentions from stupid trumpateers.
