PAF Air Chief checks out on F-15 Eagle

India IS NOT LOOKING at F15 because thy have their Twin engined Air Supremacy options covered very well

Over 300 mki/Rafale / Supermki = Ample options

What IAF needs is 300+ ligtrweight multi role fighters to balance this fleet = LCA & F16/70 combined

TO GIVE A VERY WELL BALANCED FLEET OF 600 + FIGHTERS

SE is what India need against China, it's better stealthy features may give some edge to India in defending air space and performing SEAD/DEAD, it's better bird then Rafale.

No way

Cannot afford another $250 million plane in addition to Rafale

And the Rafale F3 and Future F4 Which is likely to b orderd post 2025 is a much better option

More modern fighter with superb stand off Scalp land attack cruise missles & meterore BVR

The rest will be handled by MKI combined with Brahmos and future upgrade to ki

THE SINGLE ENGINE Tejas & F16/70 is the right way to relace 300 mig21/27 fighters in double quick time

It is just a courtesy ride, Senior Armed Forces personnel get it all the time. Doesn't mean they are buying it.
Actually the Air chief flew in the last F-15 mission of the exercise.

I have been good Alh. How have you been?

On the F15, the chief is said to have enjoyed the ride immensely. I believe he even did some back seat driving.

On the J11, @Windjammer is the best person to comment.

Dear Windy, what was the Chief and Jr.Chief's impression of the J11?
My dear we all heard The Ace commenting on the aircraft rather than the exercise...which alone tells us a story.

First Euro-Typhoon key Jhoolay, now F-15 key Jhoolay. They better buy something of their own ASAP.:frown:

Seems like missed the key point........to defeat or fight such beast in any war....it will be an upper hand if you have used this war toy and know how this works, maneuvers......and what else is better way....to Get JHOOLAY on this............

which was always MY POINT TO PAKISTANIS

Twin engined Fighters WITH BIG T=RCS have other advantages over lighter fighters

Not only heavier longer BVRs

They carry bigger radars
Bigger EW suites
Have twin engines and MORE processing power
Greater range
Greater Loiter time

This why IAF has opted For a MASSIVE fleet of MKI

and Less maneuverability in dog fight....:p:

More. Rubbish

The whole concept of tvc engines is to have super agility to engage fighters at incredible angles of attack that non tvc fighters can't perform

Throw in helmet display and good hobs missile and it's awesome combo

Silent eagle has incredible weapons and radars and new Rcs reduction schemes

Brilliant war plane but for India at 250million not happening

Pakistan would be awesome addition but again you have even less chance than India to obtain them for reason above and USA just will not sell them to you anyway

USA isn't keen on giving AESA upgrade to PAF F-16's then how can USA give AESA quipped F15 to PAF.

Also whenever a fighter is discussed, the PDF members straightaway want to see it in PAF. When will sense sink in.

The pilot was unaware he was flying on a single wing, till he landed. Hows that!
There are so many questions that come to mind
Despite having a 360 view thorough the canopy he didn't realize that he had 1 wing?
In a sheer moment of panic he didn't realize that he had 1 wing and if he did would he have ejected?
Why risk his life? Maybe he knew it all along and wanted to spice up his story.
