PA Tank demonstrates underwater capability

Quite remarkable. Did not know this was even possible

Tanks nowadays (and since a long time ) have snorkels which let the engine "breathe" whilst it's underwater, allowing it to function. Even SUVs have them and also some buses and lorries.

how long can it stay submerged ? most of the vehicles should be ok for few mins until the water seeps in.
Unless vehicle is designed from ground up to be amphibious I dont think most of the tanks will hold up for too long.

Its called deep wading...something existing from 1930s

Heres a pic from ww2 with the snorkels clearly seen on the sherman

I believe the next step is to design a tank which can cross river Jhelum or river Sindh.

I am familiar with tanks operating in water but have not seen a tank submerged completely. Well learn something everyday :raise:

you can spot those snorkels from a mile away.
