P.C and gaming nerds needed! help!

1) Install HWMonitor and intelburntest. Run the default settings and report on the temps. Did the test complete without crashing?

2) Go to bios and check your xmp settings and if overclocked bring your ram back to default. Re-test

3) Re-insert the ram sticks and re-test.

4) if still failing; Im assuming you have 2x32gb sticks or 4x16gb sticks of ram. Take out one at a time and re-test on each cycle.

It happens when he’s running applications or software.

I bet it has to do with his memory modules..
or corrupt boot media , 6-7 years ago that happened to me , turned out the boot HDD , was my oldest HDD and was dying. changing it fixed it for me . its not bad to do a chkdsk on the disk and also look at S.M.A.R.T info.
also a memtest is a good idea . but that give you the best result if you do it from boot

PSU and coolers are incredibly important nowadays, anybody who don't do research while buying them risk damaging all other valuable components.
when there is no graphic load , for example when hearing to music i doubt the system even use 300w

the guy has like a $2000 pc..

he can surely pay $100 to get it repaired by professional

Ok, so i got this set up about a year ago and sometimes when I'm listening to music and playing diablo or God of war, i get the blue screen of death

Check the CPU temp and make sure it is not overheating and if necessary renew the CPU heat paste since if that dries up then the CPU will overheat and cause blue screen of death. Secondly ensure you have the latest drivers for the graphics card. Thirdly ensure you have the latest windows update installed this frequently resolves bugs in the OS and drivers. If that doesn't work it could be a compatibility issue with your applications so run them one at a time and see if issue comes up.
