HINKIARI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has said that the Pakistan Army is fully capable of dealing with the future challenges, ARY News reported.
According to details, Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif visited the Junior Leaders Academy Shinkiari in
Mansehra district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), where he witnessed the closing ceremony of Physical Agility and Combat Efficiency System (PACES) Championship.
Addressing the ceremony, General Raheel Sharif praised the role of
Pakistan Army during the Operation Zarb-e-Azb in North Waziristan and said that the military is fully capable of dealing with all the future challenges.
He said that training in peacetime, guarantees success during war, while he also praised extraordinary performance of the participants and their trainers at the conference, which was organized for polishing the skills of the troops.
Later, the COAS distributed medals and shields among the winner and runner-up teams and individual performers.
The Inter Services Public Relations (
ISPR) said in a release that soldier Gulfam, Muhammad Zubair and Babar Ali received gold-medals during the Pakistan Army PACES Championship.
