That data is from Jan 2016 to Dec 2021.
Which means the suicide rate is less than suicide rates of armies of US, Canada, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, UK, Russia etc.

Do you realise how ridiculous that sounds.
All the countries you have mentioned above have been engaged in many major conflicts around the globe thus suffering from various battle related syndromes, the article points to the dilemma of prolonged deployment on LAC and LOC and some counter insurgency operations.

Major presence of Nato troops in Afghanistan and Iraq ended long ago. For the period mentioned, they had a token presence of a few thousand troops in each country, maybe like 9000-10000 in Afghanistan, and almost negligible, like 1000-2000 in Iraq. There were no other major conflicts that NATO countries were involved in. For this period, these troops were mainly there to train the locals oversee their operatios, carry out airstrikes etc, land operations were limited, their active involvement had ended long ago in Iraq and was rapidly falling in Afghanistan. So not just their numbers, but even involvement was limited. So 10,000 deployed out of millions of troops.

Russia on the other hand did have 40-50,000 troops in Syria and were also fighting along with Eastern Ukraine separatists, so that might explain their numbers.

800+ military personnel died by suicide in last 5 years:
These don't count the cases of fratricide

These figures are seriously high and biggest indicator towards Morale being all time low. India needs to find out a solution fast or they are screwed.

Any figure from PLA or PA to compare ? If Agniveer implemented, this number will increase 10 folds for sure. And also fratricide cases.
