Over 6, 000 villages electrified in Sindh

In Sindh, over 6, 000 villages have been electrified at the cost of over Rs600 million during current financial year while over one thousand more villages will be electrified during next financial year in the province.

According to official sources, work on alternative energy project has also been initiated to electrify villages in far flung areas of the province.

Sources said that 285 primary health facilities in Tharparkhar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Umerkot, Sanghar, Kashmore and Qamar districts will also be electrified during next financial year.

Elections are coming up so they have to stage such dramas. I have never seen any worse political party than PPP in Pakistan in terms of corruption.

BTW where is the electricity in the country??? As the government claims that it has provided electricity to 6000 villages... 6000 is a great figure and it means the half of Sindh villages have been provided the electricity... How technically the Sindhi's people are made the fool.... just fitting the electricity pillars electricity does not come....Those villages in Sindh which have electricity facility are also deprived and for many days the villagers spend nights and days without electricity. It is why the solar system in Sindh has increased and now wherever go people have switched on solar system....They dont rely on wapda now... Government should now provide subsidy on solar system to those people who want to install it in their houses.... On cheap prices solar system may be provided them so that they can start their businesses and earn some livelihood.

I agreed with you.... Knowing everything that our present political culture is corrupt and stupid the politicians are in government and have no capability to run the affairs of government then we give the vote to same people and stride to bring them again in power... how much we are foolish... I do not know what things have compelled us that we give them the vote...

@Azeem_Ahmed thanks for speaking the truth. A relative of mine works with a Sindhi guy who told him that Karachiites are lucky to have all facilities, there in Interior Sindh they don't have electricity for the whole day.

And this crap PPP claims it has electrified 600 villages.
