Hind-ians who control Indian gov is determined to destroy Tamil. For two reasons.

One--it is Tamil nationalism that stopped Hindi becoming the sole official language of India on January 26, 1965. But for the blood sacrifice Tamil youth made in January-February 1965, Hindi would have been sole official language of India. Bangalore Metro would have just Hindi. Everything would be done in Hindi. Hind-ians never forgave Tamils.

Another reason is age old "rivalry" between Sanskrit and Tamil. As long as Tamil is alive they cannot claim Sanskrit is mother of all South Asian languages. So kill Tamil. Which is older Sanskrit or Tamil? There is argument but if not Tamil, then Sanskrit's claim is unchallenged. So kill tamil.

Also they are jealous that Tamil is unquestionably the oldest living language. So kill Tamil and revive Sanskrit.

One reason for IndiAN gov destroying the independence of Tamil Eelam is they do not want to see a Tamil country which will not allow the death of Tamil. No country. Then you can kill Tamil.

They do not want research done on Tamil. They do not want Keelavadi excavation that shows ancient Tamil city. They do not want archeological research on the ancient port city of Poompuhar.
