Pakistan will never use nukes on a Muslim state. Its simply out of question, no matter how much the relationship sours nukes are out of question.

Forget about any foreign country..the greatest challenge to your nation is not from Afganistan or India...rather it is your home grown terrorist like Taliban in different packaged version who are threatening your society...They donot have a face that you will drop your decorated powerful Islamic nuclear bomb on them...And again..how can you use nuclear bomb which was supposed to be Islamic bomb against a islamic nation? Do you think that it will be against your principle...

Honestly, Afghanistan will not continue like this forever. It will either stabilise as one single nation and the different ethnicities will compromise or it will break up along ethnic lines. Either way the pashtuns will claim your pashtuns areas.So you have to be prepared for that.

In fact, if a single unified Afghanistan claims NWFP it is much more dangerous for Pakistan, than it would be if only an independent Pashtun chunk of Afghanistan does.

Afghans are going to keep killing each other like they have for hundreds of years, theres only a brief period from Zahir Shah's time to Soviet Union time where they were "stabilized" and most of that was concentrated in Kabul. I don't think they'll break up, but its very unlikely that they'll ever stabilize and progress.

In a united Afghanistan at least you have the Tajiks, Uzbeks, and Hazara's the neutralize the delusional aspirations of afghan pushtuns.

Pakistan was created for western interests by british, not for islam...unfortunately it turned out to be highly unstable country, it has become dangerous to the peace of the world...sooner or later a nuclear disaster might happen at the hands of pakistan....
