"Terrorism for us is a real and present danger. The Prime Minister was articulating what is for us the core concern in our relation with Pakistan. Mere denials of selective approaches towards terrorism are not going to drive away our concerns," External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said.
..................."India will in any case address its concerns on terrorism through all means available to us. Our tool kit is not restricted in any manner," the Spokesperson said.
................Asked whether the talks between Foreign Secretaries of the two countries will go ahead, he only said they are meeting following directives from Prime Ministers of both the countries to be in touch and look at the way forward in bilateral ties.
NO!!
Actions taken out of fear cannot long lasting.
If, we need a peaceful and progressive South Asia Pakistan should stop supporting/ harboring anti India activities.
As we all know that India has burned their fingers one than once with Pakistan and it will be too difficult to proceed till there are some credible actions taken by Pakistan.
Yeah and the sad part is Pakistan wont be there after the FLASH.
Pakistan is fighting a full fledged war against terrorism and is not supporting or harboring anti india activities. In fact Pakistan's grievance is that its india that is supporting anti-Pakistan elements in Afghanistan
Playing victim card!! Instead of saying we are suffering from terrorism. there is no need to say that you are or are not supporting anti India elements from Pakistan but just say that you (Pakistan) will NOT allow any anti India activity from their soil!!
On side note - Don't you think anti Pakistan element in Afghanistan are by-product of Pakistan's anti Afghanistan Policy. Isn't you country (partially/ fully) responsible for mess there.
So blaming India is not helping.
not at all....our "interference" (if you want to call it that) in Afghanistan is a DIRECT RESULT of the anti Pakistan activity emanating from Afghanistan - at times with your country's blessing
and i wasnt playing "victim card" im just stating that we are fighting an insurgency in our backyard so india shouldnt resort to publicity stunts or try provoking us b/c we prefer dealing with our immediate threats...but if india insists on a path of hostility then we can and will defend ourselves
If you are not doing it why don't deny and say say that Pakistan WILL NOT support any anti India element from it's soil?
Oh ok, let's put an end to the macho-man comments which have no reality. You guys mention nukes like its a video game. Sad to see it. The FLASH as you call it,will probably destroy most of Pakistan, but it'll take down half the India with it....and you can't get to 1 billion again for 50 years nor can you use the land for two decades to grow crops. Ask the Japs, someone here might give you some advise on how dangerous that is.
A half gone India will never be able to become an economic or regional power, similarly, you won't ever stand in front of China as about half the military would be gone. No more $$ for defense purchases as you'd be spending every dime in reconstruction. Your bright future will become much smaller, like how Sri Lanka's future is. The Chinese will be doing block aids at will. Point is, let go of the nuke option as you don't know the dangers of it. Debate everything else.
Instead of continuing to watch for something that has already appeared, India needs to act.
I know. When I say "you" i meant "Pakistan Govt."neither you nor i make policy decisions so what difference would it make
Is it sarcasm in your post or you dint catch the sarcasm in my post.Oh ok, let's put an end to the macho-man comments which have no reality. You guys mention nukes like its a video game.
