Some guys made a World War 1 series dedicated to the Ottoman point of view.

I think everybody would find this interesting to watch as a series as they are going to cover the battles, tactics, weapons and many figures like Sultan Reshad, Enver Pasha, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, Jemal Pasha, Otto Von Liman Sanders and many more.

CHURCHILL dreamed to drink Turkish cofee in Istanbul in a few days

but Turks destroyed most modern British - French navies and killed over 252.000 British-French-Anzacs-Indians in Gallipoli Campaign in WW1 ( 1915 )

Mahatma Gandhi ( Leader of the Indian War of Independence ) said that
I thought God was British , until defeated of the British by the Turks led by Mustafa Kemal ( ATATURK )

also British General Townshend surrendered with his 13,309 men, including 6 generals and 476 officers, on April 29th 1916. This was the highest number of British troops captured in a long time

The siege of Kut al Amara with the Turks in the Mesopotamian Campaign ( Iraq ) brought the end of General Townshend's career

Churchill was the one who confiscated the ships which the Ottomans paid for.

Such a dog move. I hate churchill for the scumbag he is.

Kut victory was actually such a crisis to the British that they thought they would lose too bad the Ottomans and ths Germans failed to put the intiative to push on.

What would history be like if Ottoman Turks didn't enter the war

It will either recover or it will collapse.

Most likely believe the latter. No empire lasts forever out of the main players in WW1 the Empire that was plagued with the most problems was the Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire many historians say sooner or later they were going to collapse and it was inevitable.

Same applies to the Russian Empire to be honest even before WW1 the empire was plagued with problems.

It wasnt. Certany not in a way it did. One of the greatest tragedies of 20th century.

WWI was very close one, almost until its final months.

.
If its one thing how the USA became a superpower its really due to ww1 and ww2.

A lot of the old powers have destroyed themselves.

Usa really does have an advantage when it comes to geography. While most countries were destroyed due to ww1 and ww2.

.
well, thats on Europeans.
When you look it a bit closely, WWI was essentialy one big family feud betwen european monarchies.
Austrian, UK, German, Russian qeens and king were all cousins, close cousins. Family feud witch costed Europe of entire generation... and set up the stage for part 2, shich was The Second World war.
They also fucked up ME in the process so profoundly that even 100 years after its stil fucked.

Indeed what a tragedy even today we live with the problems created by the aftermath of WW1.

Yes I also agree

One of the main factors which contributed to the decline of the Ottomans was this idea of nationalism

There was no way Ottoman Turks could have held onto all of the territories even without WW1

But maybe they could have survived in some form or another in mainland Anatolia with support of Turks

In honesty, subsequent muslim empires fucked with em for over a 1000 years, last one The Ottomans for 300

History is cycle, not a line. Our turn will come again.

But maybe they could have survived in some form or another in mainland Anatolia with support of Turks

Syria, Iraq, Palestine, most probably too.

Big Arabian revolt is overhyped by the British. 100s of thousounds of arabs fought on Galipoly for exmp.

.
The problem is the Ottomans have conditions that could have led to a communist revolution.

After Russia I believe the Ottomans and Austrians were ripe for a communist revolution even if they survived WW1 their long term fate is sealed.

Not just communism but nationalism too that spread across their empires.

Turkey has a pkk problem along with other terrorist separatist groups that is now reaching 40 years imagine the Ottomans but 100 times the problem. Not just kurds you have Jews, Arabs, Assyrians, Chaldeans, Maronites, Alevis, Yazidis, Armenians, Greeks and many other non Turk ethnic groups all wanting their independance.

As much I would love to keep these lands due to resources and potential just will not work you have ethnic groups doing whatever they can to break away.

Well Alevis are formed by both Kurds and Turks they are more like a religious and cultural group plus they have no love for their Ottoman overlords.

.
In muslim majority teritories nationalism was by a large introduced from top down, same for communism.

15700 Bosniaks fought at Canakkale. And at that time we were under Austro-Hungarian Rule

.
You also had Austro-Hungarian troops that fought in the Middle East in WW1 could this have included some Bosniaks??

24 years old and im 25 years old today. So many young lives sacrificed makes me respect them so much.
