Ottoman Monuments in Greece and Including Ottoman colorized footage from Balkan in 1909

No need to spin:

Saudi Arabia became a british protectorate in 1915

During First World War Ibn Saud signed the 1915 Treaty of Darin with the British government, thereby accepting the status of a British protectorate. On 20 May 1927, the British government and the Kingdom of Nejd concluded the Treaty of Jeddah, a further agreement

In Iran british troops marched through the entire country, even the capital was under controle of the the british, They replaced the Shah and installed a puppet. In a way Iran was even less than a colony, it was basicly owned by British Petroleum.

How i can be sure? I dont know, we greeks invented something called "writing" we also invented to write down history.

That said, there were constant uprisings against the Turks in Greece and what started as local wind, became a hurricane. In my own region happened the siege of Tripolitsa.

Read what a british had to say:

There were about one hundred foreign officers present[citation needed] at the scenes of atrocities and looting committed in Tripolitsa, Friday to Sunday. Based upon eyewitness accounts and descriptions provided by these officers, William St. Clair wrote:

Once Greece was free, a design flaw in the Ottoman Empire caused it to collapse quickly. The ottoman sultans did not trust other muslims. In all the times all high offices in diplomacy, trade, science and so on were hold from Greeks. Once the freedom fight gained momentum, the Empire was attacked from within. Its own high ranked diplomats asked the UK, France, Russia and German Kingdoms for support against the Ottomans.

Im glad that my ancestors fought for our freedom and im thankful. that i can lead a free life as a free Greek in an independend and free Greece.

Being protecorate doesn't mean shxt.. Even Germany itself was Turkish protectorate at one point in time.. It doesn't mean much. They were never invaded by Britain or anyone in that matter.

What does it have to do with anything whether you fought for your freedom back or not. The thread was not based on that which shows your insecurity and inferiority complex..

The Ottoman advance into Greece was preceded by victory over the Serbs to its north. ... With no further threat by the Serbs and the subsequent Byzantine civil wars, the Ottomans besieged and took Constantinople in 1453 and then advanced southwards into Greece, capturing Athens in 1458.

It fell 5 years after Constantinople..

This was Athens in the Ottoman period it looked like it peak in this period because the Ottomans brought alot of building technique and white stones

Germany was never and under no time a "turkish protectorate...

Also you must be joking when you believe "Athens" the city of beauty and art...peaked under the ottoman tyranny. As your own picture shows. The center of philosophy became a goat herder hub. An insult and disgrace to its former glory. Thats why it was so important that we fought our freedom back and kicked the barbarians out. There was no art, nu culture, no greatness in ottoman times. It was a big nothing. A passing of days without significance.

Its also amusing that you believed the Ottomans...who could build nothing than huts...would teach us...the people who build the grandes architecture...any building technique...

Germany was a Turkish protectorate when they got cornered in Europe and sought refuge with them.

Look what architecture compared to the Turks? You have left nothing except one thing. The Turkish architecture is much superior than the ancient greek architecture.

Can you build marvels like this

What exactly do you mean we have left nothing except one thing?

Much of the Ottoman mosque architecture was inspired by Greek Orthodox(Byzantine) architecture. I'm not saying it was a copy, I'm saying there was a lot of influence.

Personally when it comes to mosques,I prefer the Ottoman style. It feels much more familiar. I see so many weird mosque styles in southeast Asia on the internet sometimes.

Would you say the british occupation time of Pakistan was the best time for the region? I guess not. I also assume you knowmwhat cultural titan the greek civilisation is. I find it amusing that your subservitude to Turks goes so far, that you would insult one of the greatest civilisations...

Man give it up. Ottoman fanboys are so fanatic they would sacrifice Pakistan for Turkey 😂 Forget it. One of these two even said they would like to see Pakistan go to nuclear war for Turkey.

@Apollon Welcome to defence.pk where pakistanis are feeling more turkish than the turks themselves. They see Erdogan and Turkey as champions of muslims worldwide, they are the kind of people who will defend and promote muslim invasion and colonization of christian countries but will cry if you promote European colonialism. They are the kind of people who will cry about islamophobia in Europe but at the same time go blind about what happens in countries like China. "muh western propaganda".

You are on a forum where some believe after 2023 the ottoman empire will rise again, lmao.
