@Zarvan Actually they have never been vocal in recognizing terrorists as terrorists and condeming the terrorists attack on innocents . Yet they condemned the killing of TTP Chief . The state of Pakistan always supported Taliban till their friends harbored the terrorists who carried out the nine eleven . Even after then , we desperately tried to negotiate with them to hand over Osama Bin Laden - their chief guest in order to save their country and ours but they blatantly refused . Pakistan couldn't have let itself to be bombed back to stone age with no one to help because of Taliban and AQ mistakes and hence supported US . Ask these religious scholars to realize the reality on ground and condemn the attack on twin towers too which started the whole chain reaction too . We are no Afghanistan to have nothing to lose since well they are already in stone age . So it were the Taliban who started the whole thing .

Terrorists are not innocent. Those who kill citizen are murderers.

But then those who say its our war and send the bill to Washington are not angels either. Pakistan Army no doubt sacrificed a lot in this war. But then who sent our Army to fight our own people without taking us into confidence? Remember Musharraf?

This argument is not simple. We want to make it simple without putting an effort to think through it. Pakistan is fighting a war which isn't its war. It was pushed into this war out of America's rage & fear by Musharraf.

We created a situation where our people rebelled against us. They were helped by our enemies too but we created the situation first. We created that space for them because we could not confront America.

Now we need to back track from policy which has been a net loss to Pakistan. Negotiations could be the first step as it will divide who wants to talk & who wants to fight. Thats the only way to take the ownership & stop this confusion.
