Featured Opposition-ruled Senate rejects two FATF bills

The system actively discourages common people from running elections. How are you supposed to vote for new people if they can't get into the process?
Usually there are 10-20 people on ballet box. We simply dont vote for them.

People arent interested in independents ..lets face it

I'm not interested in voting for useless MPA's and MNA's. Last election was the first I ever voted in. Funny thing I don't even remember the guys name because I voted IK. What's funnier? He didn't even show up in his constituency post election.
We need to do away with these relics of the past. World has gone digital and we don't need useless bickering in the assemblies to sort our issues.

What are the implications of FATF? Can Pakistanis go abroad for studies and work? Do we have to follow democracy? If Pakistanis movement is not restrained, just business suffer, then can FATF be good for Pakistan?
I mean if we role back/control democracy (still cooperating with int community), then arrest all culprits, done with small provinces, rule of law, gun control, presidential system, etc it can be somewhat blessing for pak!! ? We can still trade with China? @PaklovesTurkiye @Joe Shearer @waz
This 10% democracy is lethal for Pak. No council (baldayati) election/governance, no independent police, no gun control like UK, no metropolitan gov like London.
plus we lack regulations. Like police reforms, land reforms, housing planning, etc that is separate chapter.

FATF requirements have nothing to do with democracy - they are meant to prevent terrorist financing, which is done in a variety of ways shared with various other criminal organizations and corrupt public officials, so it ends up helping Pakistan out in tackling government corruption and non-terrorist criminal activity.

Pakistan absolutely needs to follow through with implementing these requirements, especially the laws against money laundering.

Yes we should know that the specific law traitor opposition is trying to reject is AML (Anti Money Laundering).
This is their bread and butter.
